If you’re a Registered Nurse (RN) completing the professional component of your education, the Nursing: RN to BSN program at SRU is designed to meet your needs. You’ll develop critical thinking skills for clinical decision-making, prepare to collaborate in multidisciplinary work, shift focus from care of individuals within a community to the health of a community, refine professional communication, and develop leadership skills.

Through this program, you’ll build the professional foundation for your nursing career, gaining the knowledge and skills needed for advancement in clinical ladder programs and a base for graduate education. You’ll develop the team skills and technological savvy to provide leadership in managed care environments.
