    How We Got Started

I had these guys come in and give me a quote on some electrical work. I have lived in my home (had it built in 2005) for almost 12 years. We unfortunately had a bad home builder whom went out of business about a year after the home was complete. We have had a lot of electrical issues since the home was built, and just lived with most of them until we got fed up. Ace was 1 of 3 quotes we got, and they were willing to work with their price to get the work. We had all outlets in the home changed out, as the originals we almost all not wired well or were falling apart. (Switches and outlets, inside and out) We also had them look at our fuse box/distribution panel. It was aluminum and cheap, and the bus bars were starting to show signs of overheating, as well as having the hot wires being a nuetral color, not black or red. We are thinking of selling our home, and asked them to provide guidance on getting the house up to code. All three companies we had quote (including ACE) provided basically the same guidance, service and warranty. The difference was Ace said it would be better to just completely redo the distribution box, with copper wiring and higher end Eaton box that had a lifetime warranty on the box and bars used. This was only about 150$ more than any other quote for that work. The re-device was originally the same price as the other quotes, (which was really high) and I told them I didn t want the service then. The gentleman we used (Jamie Nice) asked my concerns and talked with me about the warranty of work, etc. As with anyone else getting outlets and plugs replaced, I told him we could go to Lowes and buy these same plugs/outlets, and change them out myself for around probably $500-600 at the highest. Charging close to $3000 for that service was outrageous. All 3 companies were the same, except maybe for quality of product used. He worked with me (slightly) on the price of the re-device, as well as some other troubleshooting we needed, and I felt even though I still paid WAY more than I really wanted to, I got a really good quality of service and work at a more than competitive price. These guys really wanted my business, and did a great job with the work. They changed out the distribution panel in about 4 hours, and then did the re-device (including some serious troubleshooting of bad wirring in the house) in about 9 hrs. They had quoted possibly 3 days, and completed in a day and half. They answered all our questions, and even allowed us to prompt them to other problems we thought we had. I gave them all 5 stars except for value for money . as I still feel the cost of electrical work is outrageous no matter whom you use (if it is a certified electrician with warranty, not a handyman you can t find tomorrow if you need him). I would highly recommend these guys, I am very pleased with the quality of product used, and how quickly they worked and how easy to work with they were.
